If you are looking for how to maximize your six yards ankara, you are at the right place. LEEMA is all about budget friendly fashion, in this economy of ours who have the money to spend lavishly unless you are one of those #RichKids in town.
This Ankara was for my friend’s wedding, If you guys can still remember I used one yard from it to make my Eid al fitr outfit, I talked about it in a post HERE. So here is what I made with the remaining yards. I maximise the Ankara so well.
So when next you are buying that Ankara, think outside the box. Don’t just settle for the basic style every time, try maximise the Ankara to have so many pieces from it.
I totally love the fact that I can style each one of them separately and still make a statement, I am already looking forward to styling this peplum top with a white gown. The only colour I see working with this fabric is definitely white other colours on it will be too pronounced.
With just 6 yards of Ankara I basically have four different pieces which can still be restyled in so many ways. The skirt and blouse from this Post and the trouser and peplum top. Thanks to @beingdeborah (On instagram) for always coming through, she made all the outfits.
Guys comment below how you would style any of these pieces (skirt, blouse, pant, peplum top) and it might just be yours. Let’s get creative guys!!! Will pick a winner randomly.
Slayonce! You styled it perfectly. I’d switch the peplum top for a wrap blouse with exaggerated sleeves, the white body top remains. Then a mini bag to complete the look.
The fashion killer herself. Exaggerated sleeves will definitely take the look to a whole new level. So that means you are styling the pant differently yea? You just won yourself the Ankara pant. Email me your address.
I love the wide leg Ankara pants.. The whole combo looks amazing and the fabric is beautiful.
oh yea skinny brownie, the fabric is everything. i just couldn’t resist it when the picture of the fabric was sent to me. reason why i just couldn’t make the basic Ankara style with it. thanks for stopping by.
