We are at the end of the year and no matter where you live, whether it’s for work or fun, there’s a good chance you’ll be attending a holiday party or two in the coming weeks. What better time to play around with your look than when you have a chance to hang out with friends and have some killer Instagram photos?
So I collaborated with JOY of Dace Beauty a Makeup Artist/beauty blogger who blogs at joycedaniels.wordpress.com to create an Holiday Party Makeup and outfit inspiration to give you and idea of what look would be perfect for that office Holiday Party or just a late night dinner with friends.
For Holiday Party makeup look go for Statement Lips and Glittery Eyes,Go bold or go home with this eye-catching look! You’ll be sure to grab everyone’s attention at the party with this look! Your eyes and lips will really stand out with this look, so be prepared to wow everyone at all times.
My makeup was done by JOY, details on product used to achieve this look is up on @dace_beauty. For those of you who tend to go for more subtle, and would rather steer clear of the dramatic, give this one a try.
All About That Glow! A highlight is a perfect way to add some flair without going all out!
If you’re not into the whole evening dresses for party but still want to look cute for the party season, don’t fret! You can construct the perfect outfit with what’s already in your closet at home.
The looks ahead straddle the line between sophisticated and glamorous, and you’ll feel perfectly comfortable enjoying a cocktail in them. In fact, they might even make you feel like a boss.
Styling these looks, I wanted the two looks to have a touch of Africaness, when JOY said she has no Ankara clothing but just few pieces of un-sewn Ankara. I just knew we had to creating something with what we have.
I quickly made this no sew Ankara DIY top as seen on her to infuse a little bit of Africa into her Outfit.
