Year 2018 Recap

Oh my!!! Year 2018 was a good year for me even though I wasn’t in a good place in the last month of it. when I started reading people’s review of the year on Instagram and as I try to highlight the year for me I just went blank.

Year 2018 Recap

Couldn’t think of something great I achieved in Year 2018 because the one big thing I thought I would achieve this year didn’t come through for me. I was ungrateful for a moment. I was blind to all the blessings Allah SWT has granted me in year 2018.

How can I forget or deny Allah’s blessings in my life in Year 2018 because one thing didn’t work as planned. I fell on my face immediately to ask for forgiveness from the most high and thank HIM for HIS continuous mercy.

I mean there was no point in the Year 2018 that I fell sick. I had shelter over my head, family was in good state of health too, I didn’t have to beg to eat, business was doing extremely fine( ooopz! It’s officially out) and just because Allah wanted to test me with just this one thing and I was ungrateful. SubhanAllah!

Yes!! I became a CEO last year ( *ringsbell). I kick start my brand JUST KIMOMO AND SKIRT June 2018. It’s a clothing brand that Carter for everyday woman that loves to look stylish while being modest. My aim is to provide AFFORDABLE Skirts and KIMONO for not just Muslimah but every lover of modest outfits.

Year 2018 Recap

At first, I didn’t know how people are going to receive it, if they are just going to see at as another blogger selling clothes. Reason why I decided to hide it from you guys but close friends and people on my WhatsApp list already know.

Do check out my business page on Instagram @justkimonos_skirts and dont forget to follow. Was just looking for the right time to do the proper unveiling , I think the time is right now.

Business so far and all it ups and down deserve an entire post it self and I’m going to do just that because you all deserve to hear it all from me.

Your girl also welcomed not just one but three god daughters Year 2018 from three of my favourite people. Remember the two wedding I planned the year before? I talked about it all in a post HERE . Allah has blessed both of them with a baby girl.

In year 2018 , I was also in a good place with my Rabb. Ma sha Allah! It was the sweetest thing ever. Alhamdulillah! I decided to let go off distractions and alot of things that was displeasing to Allah and moved closer to my Lord.

Year 2018 Recap

Decided to seek more Islamic knowledge and constantly reminding myself of my purpose in this dunya. Alhamdulillah, it’s a process I intent to do more In sha Allah this year. May HE continue to make the right path easy for Us.

Can’t even begin to count all my blessings in Year 2018 because just one blog post won’t be enough. It was an amazing year and walai I couldn’t be more happier. Alhamdulillah.

When things don’t work as planned , we tend to take other blessings for granted. The best planner have it all planned we just have to have strong faith and trust in HIM and everything would turn out perfect at the right time.

Year 2018 recap

See you in my next post, hopefully if it doesn’t take another year to have one. *wink*

When I cry or lose or bruise, so long as I am still alive, nothing is ultimate. So long as there is still a tomorrow, a next moment, there is hope, there is change, and there is redemption.
